If I could give negative stars I would. This school does little to nothing to help students. They are constantly telling you no when asking for help with anything or act like they are completely unable to make accommodations to people’s needs. They are unnecessarily rigid and strict about arbitrary things. You do not get your money’s worth at this school at all. If you live in housing, be prepared to not know where you live until you get their move in day and no one can help you move in. If you have to store your stuff between the semesters (you have to change housing every semester) be prepared to fit everything you have in 2 suitcases or boxes which you have to carry yourself to their office. They dont provide carts or assistance and tell you it’s your problem. They have terrible communication and wait until the last minute for important correspondence. The professors are completely anal about students using their computers to take notes and act like we are in the 1900s and still have to use pen and paper. The school expects the most from it’s students and gives little in return. Save your money go somewhere else.
Only good for study abroad. My daughter is a degree seeking student and the school administration is completely useless and makes mistakes that have cost us thousands of dollars and permanently damaged her transcript. Please think twice before making the commitment to anything longer than a semester here. And the drug culture in Rome is far worse than the US. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL!!!
Horrible. The university offers very little academic and extracurricular support and you practically need to beg them for a counselor. Most of my teachers didn’t care about their classes they did with the only exception being the Dean of academics. Furthermore, they tried to scam me by making me sign a piece of paper for a fine that I did not commit. Please be weary that studying here is only for those who want a semester off, not those looking to learn.
John Cabot is the most beautiful place I’ve ever had the privilege of being at. The staff and s students have a type of kindness you read about. I love going to school and interacting with everyone and everything.
I really love studying at JCU, from the classes to the extracurricular opportunities! The campus buildings are all stunning with great facilities and the student body is so diverse.
An amazing university to study at. You will get the opportunity to live in an international environment, get a great education while experiencing Roman life.
JCU is the best study abroad experience I could hope for. Everyone at JCU is so welcoming.
The university is incredibly nice, the environment is awesome and there is a lot of school spirit. The location is also very beautiful
